Default Valve spring installed height allowable variance?

I'm curious what the industry standard is on variance for installed height. If the spring is to be installed at a height of 1.780" (BTR .660 on 243 LS2 head in this example) what is the allowable +/-? Thanks

Default

I called BTR and was told .010" I have 1 valve that was +.011" so a .015" shim will take it to -.004 Thanks for your input.
