Default something missing?

I pulled the intake off my 06 LS2 again to see if I screwed up a port gasket or something else when I reassembled it and I see this "clean" looking bolt hole at the back of the valley, passenger side. Is this normal or did I remove something and not realize it?

Looking at photo from when I installed my FAST 102, the same hole on passenger side is empty. Nothing to worry about.

That hole contains a coolant crossover plug. All LS heads have steam vents at the front and rear of the cylinder heads but only some of them have 4-corner venting. If you wanted to run 4-corner vebti g to get rid of hot spots in the rear cylinders, you would have to punch out that little plug to do it. I never ran the four corner, on a forced induction setup I would however.

I'm pretty sure the crossover plug is the block with the bolt "above" that open hole in the picture. There is one on the passenger side as well.
