Default HELP PLEASE - starter wiring connection?

I pulled my starter, took the first picture of the wiring before I removed it, but now I'm not sure of which wire goes where.

I'm sure the bottom wire with the 90 degree bend goes to the top stud on the starter, but not sure about the middle one going to ground on the block, and the top one going to the bottom stud on the starter.

Obviously, I want to make sure this is right before getting the exhaust in and reconnecting the battery.

Well, I bolted the starter in place and the lead that I thought went to the bottom doesn't reach - it's at least an inch short, if not two. Sigh.

Actually, now that I look at the first picture again, it appears that top lead and the bottom one BOTH connect to the upper terminal on the starter?

Yes, the alternator cable wire, and the battery cable wire are on the same terminal as the connection point for the the two on the solenoid terminal, and the other terminal is for the other side of the solenoid when it fired, to send power to the starter motor.
