I know reading through a couple dozen threads, people suggest the z51 sway bars as the 'go-to' upgrade for a base c6. However, I can't seem to find them available anywhere anymore. I also saw steinjager mentioned, but it looks like those also are no longer available that I could find. What do folks think is the 'next best' thing as far as a value / bang for the buck option for sway bars? Hotchkis I've seen mentioned, WCC has an lower cost option, but havent seen many opinions on them. This would be for 'spirited' street use only, not looking to track it at this time. Thanks.
I run the LG G1 bars, love them and worth every penny. Car is planted and flat in the curves, almost zero body roll on the medium setting. I went with the quiet end links too, well worth it. https://www.lgmotorsports.com/lg-mot...-swaybars.html

Thanks, I am checking them out. . . their website seems to be definitely lacking in horsepower though, at least this morning... feels like I'm back on dial up, watching the pages load picture by picture. :-)
Keep in mind that the Fe3 sways work well with the summer performance Street tires on the vet in the Z51 package, and if your going to go to stronger sways/shocks/trans springs, then will need to increase the tire grip to maintain the handling balance on the car.
I bring this up, since some may say that X components may work for them for say slower autocross speeds, but have seen the same sets up be very dangerous at speeds over 100mph on less then smooth surfaces isntead.

I run a Michelin 4s with my setup... it's got plenty of mechanical grip at high speed. I'm sure there's a limit but I haven't found it yet. But yes I agree, a high performance summer tire should be a must on these cars anyway if your doing any type of high performance driving.
aFe sells the Johnny O'Connel Stage 1 and 2 sway bars and sways and shocks.
Best Bang for the Buck in Performance Street handling. Feels like what we want our Vettes to handle like!\
Had em on my C5 first and now Grand Sport C6, incredible improvement over stock...

Good Luck,
Thanks Coach, i think maybe your idea of 'bang for buck' vs mine are a little different (which is OK).
I already have upgraded to Bilsteins. I was looking for something similar to the z51 sway bars in both performance (and cost) .. I really like the yellow color, but not sure I can swing the price difference between them and some of the others.

So you are saying that the G1/T1 can be dangerous under certain conditions? Can you elaborate because I have them on my c5 and now my new C6ZO6. Of course I have high performance summer tires, but what else are you referring to?

I have that same set up and it works great.
You guys drill your control arms out for the end link bolts?
