I think I'm gonna have to replace my clutch master cylinder as well! I was looking at the one from Summit Racing its listed for Super Charged engines and has a bigger bore. I was surprise to see one for a Super Charged engine but it has a bigger bore so I'm thinking about it and the price is not much higher. I was thinking about the Tick brake master cylinder. Does anyone have a opinion on the bigger bore for super-charged Corvettes from Summit?
A larger bore master cylinder will push more fluid to the slave cylinder but it is not necessary if you don't have a ZR1 with the heavier duty clutch components. It is just going to be overkill and require MORE pedal effort to shift gears.
Pressure= Force /Area , so Force on the pedal = Pressure x Area (of master bore). Suggest using the component that was designed (redesigned by gm) for your vehicle
Thanks for the great advice I should have mention I have a Spec triple disc clutch. A Corvette tech at the drag strip told me it need a new clutch & pressure plate. I have Hoosier 28 X 10.5 (11" on my 10.5 C5 rims) 18 Radial Drag Slicks. And it will spin them leaving the line on a prepped track and does not slip when I shift gears. I'm not a Corvette tech but have been a drag racer since I was 15years old. And not only built the LS3 engine in my Vette but have built many big block Mopar race Engine and small and big block Chevy race engines. And I'm gonna replace my master cylinder that is the one that come in the car in 2008 with a little over 42,000 miles on it. They had a recall on a upgraded master cylinder for the C6 but the dealers around here said they had to see the clutch pedal stick to the floor to replace it. But I still can not dismiss the free advice from the Corvette tech that runs his own Corvette specialty shop and chassis dynoed my Vette. I'm thinking about going with the Chevrolet Performance part number 1931709 with the .055 bore. The other master cylinder I mention was a aftermarket brand that I have not heard of. But they both have the same bore size. PS I have also though about the Tick master cylinder, but I think it might be more of a drag race type master cylinder. I have turned to many of my nice street cars into drag race only cars and I'm not gonna make the same mistake again!

Tick is 7/8" bore. Stock is 3/4". I have the Tick in my 08Z with no return spring. Along with an MGW shifter, it's awesome IMO. It has a slightly smaller engagement window. Only thing I notice different from stock except it always works and doesn't get stuck on the floor at 7krpm
This *sounds* like a clutch master cylinder issue -- I'd replace it, especially since the original part has a known weakness. Its a tricky job, but not impossible.
These videos has some decent instruction; getting the clip back in is the hardest part.
Just finished swapping the clutch MC. Everything appears to be operational now. Did a short test drive and no issues, everything worked as it should. Thanks everyone for pointing me in the right direction.
