GS brake pads
Hi guys, i just looked at a bunch of threads, i need to replace the front pads on my 2010 Grand Sport, I will be using replacement GM drilled rotors. i guess I'm looking for more of a review on what you've used and tested. i do not want ceramic. i want the equivalent or better of the stock semi-metallic pads that i have now that i cannot seem to find in stock anywhere.

I went with the Powerstop Z26 Carbonfiber Ceramic pads with the stock rotors on my GS. They have better stopping power than the factory pads. Low dust and completely silent. I've been running these on my car for almost 3 years now.
The next step up from that would be the Powerstop Semi-metallic pads but they will have a lot of dust.

As mentioned, Powerstop Z26 Extreme Ceramic is highly suggested for high performance street use. Make sure your OEM rotors are still within specs. Check for smooth surface and there should be no sign of cracking or fatigue. Another great pads are the Carbotech 1521. Both have very little to no dust!

Thanks for the replies. again, I do not care about the brake dust. I've read post that the powerstops and carbotech's do not stop at high speeds as well as OEM which is what i want
