I will definitely not install any mods until I see dyno proven results. And as stated above, with the reductions in the intake and exhaust restrictions, I don't see reason to install a cold air intake. And if the exhaust sounds good like we suspect, that rules out the cat back too.

I see in the future:
No mods with good cost:gain ratios.
Mods that are advertised to have good cost:gain ratios, but actually do not.
A lot of lying by people who are trying to sell you something.

One thing's for sure, ported/polished/epoxied throttle bodies won't be a viable mod anymore. A stock 90mm throttle body is as big as 99% of the people will ever need even after being heavily modded.

Before you all go off into la la land dreaming of 50 HP in bolt-on mods consider the following LS2 tidbits that were presented in the Webcast:
- siamized cylinder bores (to be expected with larger bore)
- 40 percent more area with new 90 mm TB
- 30 percent reduction in induction system restriction
- 10 percent less exhaust system backpressure
- 90 percent torque bandwidth from 2500-5800
(I estimate 80 percent torque bandwidth from 1200-6500)
They've addressed the deficiencies in the LS1 inlet, and there is not going to be any low hanging fruit, so you may have to be satisfied with a measly 400 HP, but you can spend the money you save bypassing aftermarket bobbles taking you significant other on a nice weekend trip.

Cam + Long Tube Headers should get you to 450 hp (flywheel) without too much trouble.
I wonder how much can be gained from tuning with something like LS2 Edit on an otherwise stock car?
I wonder who will be first to dyno a bone stock '04 Z06 and a '05 LS2 on the same dyno the same day? Should give us a great baseline

Also, the PCM will be locked, so good luck tunning your car after intake or cam changes.
