Default Easier Install Method

Simply re-install the U clip on the new billet handle and snap the handle in place.

I went to Hobby Lobby and bought a small crochet needle (6" long) with a small hook on the end (cost was $2) and removed the clip from the top by putting a small flashlight in my mouth, looking straight down, pushing in on the seat cushion, hook the top of the clip with your new tool and pull.....this literally took 30 seconds per handle. Complete job start to finish for both handles took 5 minutes.

The other way previously mentioned requires you to push up through the notch in the bottom of the handle and work each side of the clip until it releases.....this takes two people and some contortions and in the end I said heck with it.

Trust me....this is a much better procedure!

Good luck.

These should really be made in a brushed finish to match the other 'brushed aluminum' looking interior bits. I bought these polished levers last year and sanded them down to more of a brushed look. Much better. Nice pieces.
