Josh, You need to come up with one that has a release **** inside the car. That way when the law pulls you over you just pull the **** and the plate will fall down into place before he walks up to your car!!!!

I really love mine. Its great to be able to display the plate on the way to a car show and then slide it underneath the car for the show....

I bought the manual retractable license plate holder a little over a month ago. I center mounted it because I didn't like it off to the side. In order to center mount it I had to position three mounting screws in a triangle pattern toward the end of the bracket (opposite the plate). I then purchased a small brown rubber door stop from ACE hardware. I trimmed off about a 1/4" from the taller end of the door stop and slightly wedged it into the gap on the front portion of the plate mounting bracket (I had to retract the plate to do this step). This gave the plate greater firmness and provided a more secure bracket against the bottom of the front end (don't want this baby coming off at high speeds...). I finished the front off with black spray paint to hide the brown rubber door stop. All told, I think it looks and functions very well.

Here are a few pics:

.....and that is exactly why I re-registered my 2013 Z in Arizona.

No ugly blue front windshield registration stickers. Check.

No inspection stickers. Check.

No emissions test. Check.

No inspections. Check.

And no front license plate. Check.

However, the trade-off is these "wants" did come at a hefty cost as Arizona is the 6th highest State for registration fees in the nation.

Show and Go License Plate Mount

C6 Retractable front license plate holder. With this retractable plate holder you can hide your ugly front plate within seconds, simply fold it down and stow away. If your on the road just pull it out and flip it up, no more tickets and no more hassle from the authorities. Installation requires just two small holes to be drilled under the front bumper or double sided tape.

$49.95 and available here:
