How does that bracket hold up to triple digit blasts (upwards of 200mph) and how does it affect drag? It really looks nice, but it sure is a big drag creator on the front of the car.

It removes so easily that you'll likely never have it on for terminal velocity blasts. If caught, no front plate will be the least of your worries!

The top of the frame is solid and won't rub against the paint but what about the bottom of the frame/license plate rubbing on the lower part of the bumper?

There is a strip of foam on the back side of the bracket and when the bracket is installed there is a approx a 3/8 gap between the foam and the face of the lower bumper, no contact

I put the Top Flight bracket on my 2011 ZR1 last year soon after I took NCM delivery.

I had the bracket on my 2012 GS, but I just purchased a 2012 ZR-1 and it doesn't seem to fit.

Hi Mal, if you had it on the GS which has the same nose as the Z06 and ZR1 it should work, please explain the problem

It fit fine on the 2012 GS, but the bottom part of the bumper sticks out further than the top part by about an inch on the ZR-1. I guess
I could bend the bracket. Right now I have a 60 day Temp Tag so I an not worried, I am sure it will work out. I have a friend with a 2012 ZR-1 and I will see what he has done.

OK I just moved the top more forward and it fit OK. The bottom of the bumper does protrude about an inch further than the top.

A little history:
I used your removable bracket on my Grand Sport and it worked great.
When I got my 2012 ZR1 I tried the same bracket, but it doesn't fit too well. The problem is that the bottom part of the bumper sticks out about an inch further than the top, resulting in what I consider an ugly gap at the top.
So here is what I did to alleviate the problem:

1 I happen to own a machine shop, so I milled 2 slots where the mounting holes were so all I have to do is loosen the wing nuts to remove or replace the plate.

2 I bent the bracket about 5 deg off 90 to better fit the ZR1 shape, being careful not to break the spot welds.

Now I am a happy camper the bracket looks and works great.

Very interesting, could you post some pics from the side please? We have sold many to the ZR1 folks and I have not heard this issue.

I used mine without the frame, works great, no change in coolant temp, no damage to paint. I'm gonna need a new one as I just traded my ZO6 for a ZR1, need a new vanity plate also.
