have a 2012 gs centennial ed , ls3 , stock. want to add headers. Been a fan of Kooks , how do the LG compare , looking for everything but the rear exhaust, I have npp. My only concern is it looks like LG is not coated. Not a fan of blueing and most peep I know have the KOOKs with ceramic coating on pipes coming from heads . please advise. thanks

The main difference is in the collectors. Each Manufacturer has their
own "special" collector that moves the HP/TQ curve to where they
think it is best.

As for coating, you touch on a 50/50 argument. Some people feel the
coating concentrates the heat on the inside of the pipe, causing
warped flanges and exhaust leaks - some people think it is not an
issue. Either way, you will get an argument on both sides...

Personally, we don't coat anything on our cars. The C5/C6/C7 all
have vended engine compartments, so added heat from headers
is not really an issue from our perspective.

Kooks is really backed up right now, we have several customer that
have been waiting for 3 weeks.

If you want Kooks, they are a good product with a lot of history. We
can get them for your, but we don't do coating. We do ship a few
headers directly to Jet Coat for customers, but you would have to
set that up prior to ordering.
