Congrats to ezrider on his new CF5/PSS setup, seems he was thrilled with the outcome!
After a couple of years of running a 19/20 set up with Invos, I decided I wanted to go back to 18/19 and go with Michelins. I just simply did not enjoy the ride as much with the 19/20 set up. Yeah, they looked nice as can be but it was killing me. A lot of the roads here in PA are crap. Bumps were harsh and traction could be suspect at times even with lowered PSIs. I said screw it...I saved my pennies and got a good deal on a set of Forgestars CF5 from Jason at GetYourWheels. Not as fancy as the 360Forged but the weight savings and ease of cleaning makes it worth it.
All I can say is this......holly $#it ....WOW
. This was a 180 in all aspects of the ride and handling of the car. Granted it is a new set of tires but the other ones only had 2K or so on them. I get a better ride and better traction and really a more secure overall feel. All I can say is yes, the 19/20 looked nice but I appreciate the additional rubber on the road now. Pics below.
