Hi, quick question. I have an 08 Z06 due for air filter replacement. I was looking at the Attack Blue filters and was wondering if the ZR1 filter will fit on my Z06 and would there be any power advantages of doing so?

Mike, the C6 Gen filter is the same for the LS3, LS7 & LS9. They all have the same air box dimensions for the filter.
However in an LS9 you get insane gains by just switching to an Attack Blue filter. There are plenty of reports here on the forum of numbers upwards of 16hp!
The reason there is a "ZR1 package" is because the stock filter has the filter retainer grill glued on it.
So when ordering the Attack blue for the Zr1, it includes a new GM retainer. Makes it easier to order.
However for the LS3's and LS7, GM started to glue the retainer on the late 2012's and all of the 2013's. So check to see what you have. If your retainer is not glued to the filter then you only need the Filter which is cheaper.
