[Z06] 2 rear diff sensors???

Default 2 rear diff sensors???
Thanks to Monica at Maxiprice for this picture from Road Atlanta

I noticed the rear diff has to sensors in the case, 1 being the VSS but does anyone know what the other is for ...Temp maybe???

Probably to check for leaks...could have used that on the C5s!!

I think I read that the rear end has it's own cooler, so it's a good guess that the second unit is some type of temp gauge.....

I wouldn't think is was a temp sensor since at the top all it can read is case temperature since the fluid only partially fills a diff.
