I almost passed out." And how does her loving husband respond? Does he say, "Are you OK?" No. His enthusiam over his new Z overflows into:"Holy Crap! Isn't this thing incredible?!"

Now THAT'S funny, I don't care who you are."

I agree! Hey Damian, does your wife ride with you anymore?

Every chance she gets! After her initial shock and annoyance with me passed on that particular occasion over a year ago, she has developed a deep respect for the C5Z. Since then she has been a passenger on the track and even drove it for 8-9 8/10s laps after she did an HPDE day--she was blown away at how fast and stable the Z was on the track compared to her Bimmer. Now she asked if maybe I'd be interested in selling it, since I've got the new one! She loves the LMB with the stripes, she thinks its very pretty! Maybe not the words I'd chose but can you blame her...

I thought that this valve in the exaust was there for more than just noise control. Don't you need the extra back pressure at the lower RPM's to get the full potential of the low end torque out of the engine. I would like to see some dyno sheets with the fuse pulled compared to the fuse in. I am guessing you WILL see a difference in the low end torque.

We did this on my car (It's got 16 dyno pulls on it already, heh). The fuse didn't make a difference at all one way or the other.
