Stock Z06 Dyno I have a few questions?
So I took my car in for baseline dyno pulls,(it has 109k miles) before I modify it. My hp number 457.37 seems right in line with a lot of stock dynos. But my torque 458.22 is actually higher than the hp, which I've never seen before in a stock dyno. So I've been calling my car stock but I did change the plugs and wires when I bought it a few months ago. I was excited when I got the car and spent to much on granitelli wires and then I used ngk rutherium plugs. Is it possible the plugs and wires picked up that much torque? Maybe my car has a tune? If so the a/f is really rich. What do you guys think?
Also on the last pull the air filter was removed to see if there were any gains. I noticed on this that I picked up 6whp but the a/f got alot richer. I think our cars do pick up decent HP with an air intake.
I would also like to say thanks to the guys a elite speed and performance. They were super nice and answered any question I had and didn't have any issues letting me watch the Dyno close up. Much appreciated

I did ask if he thought the car had a tune. He said he didn't think so but the only way to tell was to load the current program to hp tuners and check, which we didn't do . I didn't notice the higher torque until I got home and looked at a few other stock dynos.

With such a fat AFR during WOT this leads me to believe the tune is stock. You would need to load the tune up and compare it to a stock file to know for sure though.

Couple things here - STD correction will inflate the numbers. The AFR looks like stock map so highly doubt tune. Removing air filter will mess up the maf readings due to turbulence - hence it getting richer. Power gained is probably more due to timing not being pulled because richer AFR or heat soak.
I’d also be willing to bet your valve springs are tired at 110k miles and is why your HP is equal to your torque. If you refreshed your springs I bet that you would get back a lot more up top.

2021 C6 of the Year Finalist - Modified
Your RWHP of 457 is very good.
The C6s with the manual transmission loose about 13% HP on the dyno due to drivetrain parasitic loss.
505 Net HP (SAE) . -13% loss = 440 RWHP (SAE)

For openers, no reputable Shop has any business publishing STD Dyno numbers! And when I say this, I am not trying to Bash Elite, I've heard good things about their business.
1) STD correction inflates the values and cannot be used for comparison purposes. SAE should ALWAYS be used!
2) ALL baseline Dyno Runs performed WITHOUT recording timing are worthless for future power comparisons....why? Simple, a significant power gain is possible with only a timing change and nothing else, see pic below to see the impact of a 9 degree timing change on a "100% stock C6 Z)6 Dyno" can vary the SAE HP from 457 to 478 due to IAT's pulling timing!
I tend to agree with the others, this car has not been tuned, it likely has weak valve springs costing you power in the upper RPM's.
Ask Elite for a copy of your Dyno File and I'll convert it to SAE for you if you like.

Any discussion about stock LS7 engines and valve springs in the same sentence should = replacement. I change the springs in mine regularly, they're cheap, it's not a hard job to do and gives peace of mind. For the 1/4 mile times you indicate, your LS7 is giving all it can. Freshen the springs, and get a reputable tuner to get a bit more out of it. Next step up in power will require more in-depth parts changing.
