Additional Weight w/ 3LZ?
I'm really excited about the new 3LZ option. Wondering however, if there is a big down side with additional weight. I can't find any info on it on the Chevy web site.
I know the 1LZ is the absolute lightest Z -but only like 15 lbs or so less then the 2LZ (according to this : http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...1&postcount=11 )
Anyways, how much weight do you think the new 3LZ will add?

Drifting
I don't think it'll be much over 15lb. Its just a little extra weight on the doors and the dash, and its replacing the plastic so you even lose some weight.
Its probably about the same as tossing 3-4 leather jackets in the car.
I would have ordered it, if it was available.

15lbs is nothing..I wouldn't sweat even 30lbs. Driver weight and gas level in the tank make more of a difference.
If it bothers you just add a air intake and tune.
