I vaguely recall some mention about Jay Leno and the ZR1 at the Barrett-Jackson auction. Nice car...nice donation...what a write-off.

Thanks for the link.

If it's available on the internet, it's been posted here. We have someone on here just about every day.

The ZR1 has its own forum section if you want more info., pics, videos.

Its a dupe, but worth seeing again.
Jay Leno's tribute to the Corvette is classic.

Jay Leno said at the auction that he's got to have a ZR1.

Does anyone know how that write-off would work?

Just curious.

You think he's going to put his wife to work. After all, he's just your typical blue collar worker.

I would assume it would be a charity write off against the buyers year end taxes which would probably be high considering the kind of money he's throwing down.

Not bad!

He's actually paid well below the auctioned amount.

the difference between the msrp and what he actually paid at the auction is the charitable donation, approx $900,000
