somebone posted a pic a few months ago on a yellow Z. they took out the rear bumper emblem in the center and replaced it with the Z06 emblem.

looks corny if you ask me as does most ad on badging. makes one look like they are trying too hard

there is a pic on ebay of a AO z with the z06 emblem above the corvette on the bumper . looks like crap and it looks like it has wood grain in the interior

This was on my '06Z. I placed it approx the same place it was on my ZR. I'm doing the same w/ the '08 when it arrives.

To each their own, but I think it looked factory, IMO...

And BTW, no woodgrain or blingy-type here

I saw a few at Carlisle this year with the Z06 emblem on the rear.

And saw a couple with it at the left side of the grill as well.

Not for me though.

I wanted to be subtle with my 08 Z so I went out and ordered the licence plate "Z06"

It's too bad of the 6 emblems on the car, four have holes behind them. At least I could take the GM emblems off. Since my 07 is black I prefer the subtle clean look, plus there is less area for wax to get caught on

Badging up a car is "rice behaviour." Similiar to this Geo Storm with a Type R badge and Acura logo. The auto designers never sit back and say "how can we improve this car???....I know, I know, more badges!!!!" More Fun Examples

Well, I just could NOT help myself. I put '427' emblems on the hood of my car. I am basically anti-emblem. But, since the '60's wanted to own a vehicle that said '427'.

Now I do.

More emblems? Didn't like it on the '90-'95 ZR1s; don't like it now.

I think Chevy missed the mark by not adding some type of 'Z' designation on the back of the car.
