Here's a Z06 with WCC Forged 946's, they have a 3.5" front and 4.5" rear lip.

I always thought that looked really cool.
But wouldn't that create some drag?

If those sizes are right they are 946 EXT @19" front and 20" rear.

Drag -NO. Undue stress on rear wheel bearings and half-shafts - HELL YEAH!

I was wondering the same thing. Is it the closer the hub is to the outside of the wheel the less stress there is?

I agree. Look at drag cars with their ultra deep offsets on the rear wheels.

funny, i good friend of mine, manny, is the owner of the JSB z06 with 360 forged wheels.. those wheels are some major lip on them!

Also, x2 on why these types of wheels would cause more stress on hub/half shafts.
