Default need help to read engine trouble codes
today the check engine light comes on in my 07 zo6

i just ask how i can go to manual
Diagnostic mode and read code from dashbord- without scanner or code reader

no can do pardner,ya need a CAN able scanner,no more through DIC

Hand held tuner like diablo, or hypertech can read it also

On C5's you could get the codes from the DIC but not on C6's. You have to have a CAN enabled scanner but the good news is you can buy one from any parts store for under a hundred bucks, it works on just about anything built in the last ten years, and you can also clear the codes. Make SURE you get one that in CAN enabled.

Does anyone know if LS2edit will let you read and reset code? I know HP tuners will.
