Can you even imagine the adjustments needed with all those linkage arms?
Sequential linkage is very different from a sequential transmission. The sequential transmission isn't a new idea and wouldn't require much new design, motorcycles have almost always had sequential transmissions.
Note for the designers of a sequential car transmission;
Please put Neutral at the bottom of the shift pattern, NOT between First and Second. My first Kawasaki had that design and it was great never hitting Neutral between First and Second.
