We haven't had any issues with tuning for them.

Nick Williams TB Modifications

DTC 121 - Increase minimum temp for test on - Engine Diag, General, Temp Enable, Set to 256
DTC 2119 - Disable
DTC 0068 - Disable via higher RPM for test

ECU TP% output will be between 85-88%. First C6 Auto install we did showed 85%.

ETC Scaler is normally set at 4725. Increase this to max of 7800 or higher.

Idle RPM
If the idle is high, go up on ETC.
If the idle is low, go up on the minimum airflow table.

The older ones took a little bit of work but the new style is a dream to work with.

Any benefits other than the simplicity of tuning it over the old style?

The old style required a harness, this one doesn't. The new one also looks better. Here's the old one.

Seth,

I just tested one yesterday, the quality is top notch and install was a breeze.

In the case of my car, I didn't have to do anything...NOTHING!!!! I repeat, NOTHING. The car idle settled and drove like nothing was changed; I was very impressed. It took some playing with on the older units but these new ones are like a hot knife on butter...easy

Dyno results thus far: I gained 10HP and 9TQ to the tires and still testing. On the streets, the car runs crisper and pulls harder!!!

Remember, my car is modded to the max which typically means that it takes a good mod to see and feel a difference and we did. The wife, one of my test driving lab rabbit drove it and said it felt crisper and the gear changes transitions are much more smoother with much better stop light take off.

Also on the streets I noticed something unexpected, it seems to clean up any little roughness, it drives much smoother even while luggin' it in 5th or 6th going 40mph or less.

I'll give credit with credit is due: Great job Seth, I like it...you have a PM.

Thanks,
Carlos
