C6 Corvette Pre-Painted Replacement A-Pillars

If you want the complete body color look then these pieces are perfect for you. These are real GM a-pillars, we take them, remove the weatherstrip, sand down the plastic, prep, primer, base coat and clear coat. Once they are dry and ready to ship, we re-install the weatherstrip. We paint each set in a climate controlled paint room with dust eliminating fans, resulting in perfect body matching trim pieces.

These require the removal of your OEM a-pillars. To remove your OEM pieces you will need to remove seven bolts. Simply re-install these bolts into your new a-pillars.

Please allow 5-10 business days from order to ship date as these are custom painted to order.

This is a great idea. Any chance you can paint a set for a 2008 Victory Red car but leave the black triangle at the bottom the standard color and texture?

Well I installed one so far paint is a perfect match. The only comment I would have is RPI should have some instructions (and hardware as described below) with pictures as there is more to it than 7 screws on each side you need to drill out 4 rivets and reattach the window channel track to the new part. Which there is no hardware so you need to go out and get either 3/16 rivets or what I used was 5mm x 12 mm long button head bolts with nylock nuts and washers. Here are the photos looks good on a black car.

This is my first attempt to upload picture. Hope it works. Has RPI's painted chin spoiler, rear spoiler and the painted A pillar. Very doable for DIY with some skill and patience.
The weaterstripping fits on a sub rail and must be pulled off from the bottom up w/o removing it from the roof itself. It just hangs there while you remove the A pillar. Then the riveted sub rail must be removed and transferred to the painted A pillar. I used small bolt and nuts to reattach or you could rivet instead. Then reinstall. To reattach the weatherstripping I had to use a small screwdriver to help feed it back on the sub rail. Took a few try's but I got the hang of it. There was enough adhesive left at the bottom of the weatherstripping to just reattach. Both sides took about an hour apiece.
Well worth the effort in my opinion. Saw very very few C-6's with this mod at Carlisle this year (actually none but I only saw 15 or 20 % of all the Vettes there).
