For what it's worth, this is the review that sold me. Perfect description, implies higher cornering speeds and more driver confidence:

First impressions are just as everyone else has said. Complete night and day. You never realize how much float is in the stock Z suspension until you get a proper shock installed. Now, I find the phrases "perfect" and "utter harmony" running through my head as I drive the car. DRM really did hit the nail right on the head with these shocks and I am completely and 100% thrilled with the change. No more bounce after a bump, no more mid corner "jitterness". The car is just completely planted and the chassis feels 100% "stable" no matter the imperfection. Its hard to put into words, but I would recommend this mod to absolutely anyone in a heartbeat. Harshness is no more noticeable than with the stockers, but there is an increase in aggressiveness due to the the more aggressive nature of the shock in controlling the cars motions.
A+ to DRM on this one.

Guys you have to have these DRM/Bilstein shocks. These shocks definitely WORK, you can feel the difference. I bought two sets last group buy for my C6 Z06 and my C6 A6 coupe.
Randy, thanks love my DRM/Bilsteins

I am definitely looking to upgrade my stock shocks this winter for my '09 Z06, but I have to ask, what is the difference between what you are offering in this group buy @ $450 versus the Bilsteins on LGM's site for $399???
This is just a simple question from an un-informed, in-experienced person, so please no flames and sorry if this gets anyone's ***** out of whack

Just so you know, I drive my Z06 to work a couple times a week and other places too so drivability is still preferred, and I also SCCA Auto-X most weekends. I am still on street tires for Auto-X but will hopefully be getting a set of Hoosier A6 and rims for XMAS, that is if Santa feels I have been a good boy It would be great to have better shocks to go with the race tires when I Auto-X so I can get around those pesky cones faster.

Just want to say that I was one of the early adopters in the first round and have not been disappointed. The DRM valving eliminates the "dead zone" in the rear shocks. Once you get rid of it your confidence in the grip in bumpy corners will return and you will be able to enjoy your ride much more. Sign up for the second round and enjoy your Corvette more.

Thanx Randy for the quick response, what you are saying make sense. So my next question is, what is the difference in the tune you have built to your specs vs the sport version of the shocks.

We installed a set of sport shocks on a C6Z and felt them to be a bit soft. So we designed a valving that works good for YOU Ok maybe not 100 percent for you, but people just like you. Many Z owners drive the car to work and back, and pound the crap out of them on the weekends.
So we went to work on a valving that would offer a good ride on the street and work well when pushing on it also. Inbetween our experience and Bilstein's technolgy we were able to provide this type of product. I will get into the technicals later. But there was a issue. It was a hard sale for me who does most of the selling around the shop. The standard sport shock would have to be revalved which added a ton of money to the bottom line. So they were priced at 695 for the longest time. Then along came someone from the forum and said lets shake this a bit. We put together the deal and it was a hit!!! This is round 2 and Santa approved.
Two of the major valving differences
We increased the front compression (better turn in, more level under braking and turning)
We increased the rear rebound (Z has a stiffer rear spring, flater under braking, hell just read the customer reviews!!!
The bushings also offer more feel which once again doesn't have to beat the driver up going down to the 7-11.

Much better than the OEM shocks!
