It is a little black box about the size of a pack of smokes. it is next to the trans on the passenger side. I am almost sure it is unplugged if it just happened after an exhaust install.

thanks man....after doing some research, it could also be a relay fuse (#13).....going into reverse is also more difficult and the same fuse also powers the reverse disengagement on MN6 cars........

that could a mental thing about the reverse. Let us know what happened so people can learn from our mistakes Good luck.

I am betting it is just unplugged

but i didn't get the evo system so the installer didn't have to touch anywhere near the sensor.......weird.......replaced the fuse.....reverse works smoother now, cleared the code.......but it cel keeps coming back on......

Mid pipe would not hit the sensor or unplug. The mufflers pipe would so when removing.

my 06 did the same exact thing a few months ago out of nowhere. Luckily I have GMPP coverage. The receipt from the dealership says, "Open Circuit in vent solinoid, check and replace solenoid." Had to overnight it so they could get the part but it was fixed the next day.

It was right after I switched from corsas to borlas...not sure if that had anything to do with it
