Default Anyone using the Deka ETX16L?

Is anyone successfully using the DEKA ETX16L in their Z? Couldn't find anything under search but it did show up on the "weight savings" list. It saves 20lbs. Thanx.

Ive read of people using the 16 with no problems, even on a high compression motor. I put the DEKA ETX30L in mine a couple of months ago and i absolutely love it. Starts everytime no problem, even after sitting for a week. Saved 15lbs.

Is the ETX 30 a better choice than the 16?

I'm wondering the same thing. I used a Deka in my Evo, and it worked flawlessly. I would like to know if it fits and installs nicely in the stock location/tie down. Thats a cheap 20# weight savings.

I managed to use the factory battery tie down with mine. Piece of cardboard on the top and some styrofoam on the side and screwed her down. Its not perfectly tight like the stock battery, but good enough. I always check it to make sure and even after some serious driving and cornering everything is fine.
Good luck yall.
