Door won't open 08/z06
i,m having a problem getting into my car. Sometime the door will open sometime it won't. When i grab the door opener the window will come down just a little (like it should) but the door won't open...
all the other doors will work, including the trunk
anyone else had this problem?

Happens to me on occasion on my 07, I need to replace it. From what I researched, the problem is most likely a bad door switch. Its underneath the rubber pad and is kinda of like a circuit board. I think gm parts warehouse has them for like 14 bux. They are easy to replace. Two screws and the whole black door handle slides out. You could try removing yours (carefully) and cleaning. Good luck.

There is a TSB for 2008 models having switches with the part # beginning with a 1xxxx. If one fails GM has advised the tech to replace both L&R switches. This is assuming your car is still under the 3/36. Otherwise it's on your dime

i'm getting new door handles for my '08 also, window would repeat index up, down, up, down till i squeezed the driver door handle just right. There was a bad batch of handles i assume.
