Lol, could of done a clear bra for the cost of the painters tape. That will be fun removing. I tape mine with the same stuff, just not that extensive. LOL

Wow, extensive job there.

I loved having LeMans blue, as the painter's tape blends in fairly well, now I have yellow.

Only 2 1/2 rolls lol and I was contemplating doing the whole car for humor

Yeah I used contact paper before but my car doesn't have a good base of wax on it and with contact paper it will leave a redunculous amount of residue

Apparently the people in my apartment thought it stood out quite a bit. One guy said that's a really nice present that you are wrapping. Lol

Default Paint Protection

I found the best way to protect my paint, be faster than everyone else on the track. Lead, never follow!

glad I could help. I have a friend who had an identity crisis whether he was a waxer or racer. He finally got it straightened out. Basically on day 2, the tape came off.

I worry more about rock chips on the public roads than I do on track. Have a clear bra on the front fascia (not the fenders though) and only have a very small chip on right rear fender from daily driving. Tracks are usually cleaner than the streets.

Have fun at Road Atlanta. I'd love to drive that track someday. You going to drive the full course configuration?

I hear you on that. My rear brake duct areas are riddled with white spots from the paint chips

I'm guessing full course. I'm running the HPDE with chin

Very tempted but one of my friends wants his way with painters tape on the rest of the car for some artwork

Just how much of a pain is the hauler? and how much for the weekend does it? would need some planks t save my splitter. But not a bad idea.

It's $50 for 24 hrs. Get two 4 foot 2x12s for under the ramps. Get four ratchet tie downs and 4 axle straps. If it's a newer uhaul with the silver ramps you can undo the two bolts on each ramp that hold down the little pieces at the ends of the ramp. Also a buddy to help you line up when pulling up is key. Also jack the front of the trailer up using it's own jack while attached to your truck. It's just a pain because of all the steps
