Here is my honest review. Any comments and suggestions are welcomed.
The diffuser came in a big FedEx box. It was wrapped in bubble wrap. There was no other packaging which caused diffuser to bounce around in the box during transit and one of the tabs were cracked. There was no damage to the box. I fixed it with some sheet metal held in place with epoxy. The tab was kind of brittle so I decided to re-enforce the other tab as a precautionary measure. I drilled 4 holes and secured the original metal hanger with a #6 screws and nut.
The carbon fiber weave did looked pretty good.
There was a large gap on top of the back up lights, both sides about .313”. I would like to know anybody else got this problem or if I got a bad one.
But you really couldn’t “tell” once installed looking down at it. Maybe if you crouch down. One day I’ll try to correct it if I ever pull the diffuser off again. Don’t know what I could do though. There were some other imperfections, but all in all, I do like the carbon fiber diffuser.

Showing up cracked would have made me sick to my stomach, and triggered a phone call. Glad you where able to deal with it. I really hope this is a solid install and not something I need to be thinking about at higher speeds.
The gap bugs me. Wonder if this is normal and visible from inside a car behind you. Maybe I'm being too picky, the piece looks great on your car, thanks for the post. Looking forward to Leo's pics and input as well.

I haven't had the time to get my OEM diffuser off as of now. I started it but gave up last night a couple screws short of finishing. That being said, just now I went to the garage and took a couple measurments. Looks like my oem has a 1/4" gap from the top of the lens of the back up light to the top of the diffuser. The gap is filled with more of the lens so it doesn"t look like your looking at air.
The new diffuser appears that the openings are not as wide as the oem diffuser by maybe a quarter of an inch. It might be just the way it looks sitting of the work bench but I'll find out tomorrow. If this is the case I could have a problem making the lens fit properly.
More tomorrow.
F65...yours looks real good even with the minor issue with the backup lens gap.

Did have modify the seven clips that snap in the top of the diffuser? On the oem part you have to push them down to take the part off. They have an open space in the. The new diffuser is one solid piece with a bump on it.

It does look good.
I have Cyber Gray. The previous owner had the center tail light mini-spolier wrapped in carbon fiber and I bought a CF license plate frame. This would be a nice mod to finish the back.

Gentlemen, I worked late last night to finish installing the new carbon fiber diffuser. I also received a diffuser that doesn't accept the backup light housing's properly. I had to elongate the slots in the bottom of diffuser using my dremel tool to get the housing even close to fitting. I also have a sizeable gap at the top where the lens meets the openings of the diffuser. Not a big deal but it will have to stay this way because I don't wish to remove the diffuser again..Also C7 called last nite and offered to replace the diffuser if I wasn't happy. I declined as I can live with the way it looks.
Like other's have said unless you get down on your knees and look for it the gap doesn"t show. So I'm a little dissappointed with that feature but the overall quality of the carbon fiber and the way it looks installed over rides my dissappointment.
See what you think?

Looks great!!!
I have a 0.25 inch gap on my stock oem diffuser. If the Carbon 7 diffuser has a slighly larger gap, I can live with it.
All of the carbon diffuser in this thread look amazing. This is a great upgrade to our cars.
Thanks to all for posting reviews and pics.

What would you guys think of taping off and spraying the back up lens housing black before the install, it would make the gap even less noticeable.
