[Z06] fixing carbon fiber splitter?

fixing carbon fiber splitter?
A small puncture was made on the tip of my carbon fiber splitter, can I get it repaired? A new one is $1k and Id rather not chunk the splitter bc of such a small blemish but i do like near perfection..

Depends on how bad it is, and how you want to fix it.
If it is very small, sometimes superglue will fix it....sounds funny but it dries clear like clear coat and will help the carbon from coming apart.
if it is a chunk taken out of it, you can lay carbon up on the back side and then clear the top again. Only hard part on this is getting the weave to match correctly. More than likely it will not match.

Hey Anthony, did my g7x3 cam ship for my 07 z06? i bought it through stanghi.
On the cf splitter, its really the white thats annoying me now where the chunk was taken off. maybe i can put some flat black and then clear over it..? what do u think?
