Default 345/35 18 Mickey Thompson Tires and rims pics

When I researched this before I couldn't find anything so here it is. They are repro 18x12 with 345/35 18. No rubbing and they hook up sooo much better and a lot less sway than 345/30 19 NT05R's.

I've got the same size in M&H's. At first they looked weird but then I started to like them. The 28" tall tire hurts the gearing some and I never ran a good time with them. Good for the street though.

These are only .36 inches bigger than my old ones, making the new tire sit at 27.5 inches. I haven't gone to the track yet, so we will have to see.

i had the same setup too, blk car/wheels everything. they hook great but they are heavy(70lbs-wheel/tire) and are too much for only 540rwhp. i run a c5z rear wheel & 315/18 dr(50lbs) and its 25.5 in tall-does not look as nasty as the 345 setup tho

Looks good and beefy. I'll reitterate you just slowed your car down with heavy wheel/tire combo and too tall. If you have 800+rwhp then go for it!!!!!! If you are under 575rwhp a 315/30/17 is all you need tops IMO.

Sheww, barely made it at 580 rwhp, lol. Thanks for the input, but I would rather be confident with hooking up rather than letting loose on a 2-3 shift. I didn't think a 17" fit around Z06 rotors?
