2020 C5 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
OK, probably a stupid question that I will get hammered about; but how different is this product from Clearbra? Is it thicker, thinner, can it be removed, how do you apply? Does it "show" on the car, do you remove it and reapply or does it stay in place like Clearbra? Thanks

I really can't tell you about other brands. All I can say is that Cleartastic has been around for approx 15 years. The new Cleartastic Plus film approx 5. Like the original film its extremely successful. Cleartastic is in the 25 top most popular items, for some of the larger distributors.
By no means is the plus film like the cheap thin product found on ebay..etc. Its 8mil. Tough, and will create an invisible barrier between your delicate paint and road debris.
The kits are NOT generically cut . We spent a lot of time designing them so they go on easy and fit perfect.
The film is very manageable which contributes to an easy install. Ultra clear. Does not cloud up like others films over time. Yes you can remove it and it will not leave residue. The only thing is the Plus film in not reusable. Apply it once for years & years of protection.
You apply it with water. Squeegee out the excess water and air bubbles, let it dry and your good to go. Once applied, treat it like your paint (wax over it..etc)
We will be releasing our "easy install" front and nose piece for the GS, Z06, Zr1 in about 2-3 weeks.

Which film?
It sounds just like the 3M XPEL product which has been around for years and which I have on the front of my Z06 and my BMW now. I am using your TKO Performance kit for the side scoops on my Z06. I am a fan of both but do not understand the difference between the two 8 mil products. I am a big fan and recommend it to all of my friends with new cars or new paint.
