Mike Reals at Speed Rated Performance in Ft Pierce , Florida did a excellent install on my 08 Z06 of a 231/246 Guerra Motorsports camshaft recommendation, had heads milled 65cc along with new valves etc, not sure of the terminology, Halltech Super Bee™ CF112 Carbon Edition, FAST 102 Intake, Ported 90mm TB, 1 7/8" ARH Long Tubes, BB Fusion Exhaust, LS9 Clutch Etc....car has only 6000 miles , the tuner
http://moslerauto.com/ called Mike with the numbers today 513 RWHP, I was told this combo was the one of highest H/C combo he has tuned! with excellent manners and drivability. I will post the graph's when my builder (Mike) picks the car up tomorrow, I won't be picking up the car for about a month, still have have more mods getting done, however, might make some 1/4 mile runs at PBIR when I fly down in 2/3 weeks, I'll post numbers then, ( couple moths ago, Mike did a H/C install on my C5 , I can't explain the huge power gains, that car is a rocket!! slides through 1st and 2nd like a dream!!! night and day difference)that will really tell the story!! From what I've been told, stock Z06'S on this Dyno post between 410 & 420 rwhp...stingy ***, as long as this car moves, no problem, the builder offered to run t on a Dynojet if I was not happy, I told him don't bother, I fully trust his choice..if your in the Ft Pierce area, and are looking to have go fast parts installed and or any kind of mods done, Mike at Speed Rated is the man, PM me, I'll get you his info! this is not a advertisement, I'm just a satisfied person who don't have the mechanical ability to do my own work. I've had way too many bad experiences involving bad shops!! I thought I'd share a gem with you guys.

Do you recall your baseline specs. My build is similar to yours. And the mustang gives honest numbers. My tune is this weekend 08o6 7000 mi.

Car is back all tuned at Speed Rated, still has to install race clutch, splitter&skirts, lowering bolts, along with valve covers, fuel rails etc....

Nice build, am I missing something here though, with headers, intake, ported Fast, TB, some have been in the 510's rwhp. The H/C Fast, header, etc jobs I've seen get around 550 rwhp. Were the heads CNCed and ported? Maybe not. Is there more in this one somewhere? Break-in should bump it some. Just asking because my mod list will be similiar.

these are uninflated dyno numbers. My setup with almost the same mods just dynoed 508/490 on a dyno dynamics (one of the stingiest out there). I have a feeling if i went to the ever gracious dynojet gods they would bestow a number to be proud of... maybe 560-570??
All i know is the thing is a RIPPER now. I took a guy i used to work with for a 1-3 pull and he was astonished how hard the thing pulled, and how raw it was when breaking the 345's loose in 2nd. Before we got in the car he was talking up his big block the built and how nasty it was in his gutted dodge dart drag car. Afterwards he was thinking it was a "factory freak" or something because it felt like way more than 510 whp...i assured him it was quite ordinary hahaha.
OP im sure you are siked....congrats on getting her completed!!!

Understand diffs in dynos and conditions, I usually check on a Mustang. But are you saying a Dynojet can be as generous as 50 rwhp in above range? I've heard of the generalization they test high but that's a lot of difference, we should all take note if data shows this.
Either way I agree Op has a great build and I'm sure is pleased.

I never had a baseline, I believe my builder is over a hour from the tuner/dyno, so with trailering it to the dyno it didn't make sense, also, the H/C will be 1st phase, of a ongoing build! We have started looking at a RHS Aluminum Block, that will hopefully get started after this gets delivered to me. It's all contingent on how good my business goes, Really looking forward to seeing how good it goes as is! I came off a 1200 rwhp TT SRT8 , and this still pulled like a train stock!

I would be willing to bet the dyno jet would be off 50 ponies easy. I had a 2jz motor that dynoed 369 on a mustang dyno, then a couple weeks layer (yes I know conditions weren't exactly the same) I hopped on a dynojet at a dyno day and layed down 399 with the tires spinning. We won't even count the fact it was laying down unrecorded power and that is an 8% deviation.
It's amazing to me that there is any difference between these things I mean it can't be that hard to control and record a moment of inertia right?? If your calibrated torque wrench snapped a bolt and you found out the thing was rreeaallyyy torquing to 110 ft/lbs instead of 100 ft/lb I'm sure there would be a lot more fuss. But I guess it's just marketing and making people feel better about the money that they spend for performance parts.

I have read most tuners go by 15/20 rule for drivetrain loss so if you do a baseline test and it equals your original 505 or close as did mine itrust my builders mustang .no data supports less parasitic loss only more. true higher numbers look better but starting with atruly stock lo mi.z06 ibeleive in 15/20
