It will flatten out the body roll and make the turn-in alot sharper

The JOC Kit made my Z feel so much more stable on turn in, and on the highway. The car is just a little stiffer, but worth the more controlled feeling that you get in return.

With this particular Johnny O'Connell shock we teamed up with the OEM shock supplier ZF Sachs for the construction. They are built to our quality control and damping specification, but on the outside look extremely similar to the factory shocks... but really the magic is on the inside. You can expect the same excellent shock life expectancy out of our JO shocks as you would the OEM shocks, but they're going to certainly perform better.

Our coilover products on the other hand are build in house by our engineering staff in Salt Lake City.

Are the coilovers shocks made out of aluminum or stainless steel? To my knowledge, SS is much more durable. Specially if the roads are bad.
Thank you very much.

It really depends which specific piece of the coilover we're talking about, we pick the appropriate material for the appropriate application, but really focused on optimizing our design with lightweight components where ever possible. We use a high strength aluminum alloy for the bodies and spring perches because of it's excellent combination of strength and low weight. All Non aluminum components are treated with an appropriate corrosion eliminating process, such as chroming, heat treating, or the use of stainless steel. The parts that need to be strong are more than tough enough to provide excellent service life.

If you have any specific questions about our coilover products please shoot me a PM and we can make sure to get your questions taken care of!

I just made a trip 1200 miles from Las Vegas to Whitefish Montana with newly installed Jonnie O package. My Z,brand new Lingenfelter built 449ci.RHS block,All Pro heads making 627RWHP 620RWTQ.Went through several mountain passes and I could not be more impressed!! With only a very very slight difference in stiffness, the turn in,the body roll, and most importantly the planted feel of the rear, has been vastly improved! The harder the cornering the flatter it responded. Some of these road conditions were not good, poor patch work, and winter torn, which prior would have had me far less confident at speed. Can not wait to try it on our newly paved road course and comp tires!Biggest most noticeable bang for the buck I've spent in a long time!
