You really think they will availible for MSRP.There is a SuperSnake that runs at our local track.08 with drag radials.13.0 everytime.We are at 4800" elevation.Hisother car,A Gt 500 with D/R's and 4:11's runs 12.9's.

I totally agree! If I could reasonably afford to keep my Z and have this car too, I would. It's going to be the badest beast out there. Besides what's coming out of bowling green that is.
Our local dealorship says they have one coming in on the 7th, Presold.

SuperSnake last night went 11.7@127 with nothing but drag radials at our track here in Utah@4500ft. That was 1.5 seconds faster than any corvette including modded c6zs.

Now you want to talk about a car to worry about, the 2013 GTRs are running 10s bone stock off the show room floor.

the 911 tt s does run 10.8 all day long but its awd,and costs 200k.A z06 on drag radials and well driven is an easy low 11s and the shelby should be just as fast,modded c6 z06 s dont run13s only in this guys dreams and 2013 gtr s dont run 10 s either more like low 11s.I hate when people who dont know put in their two cents with numbers they dream up from god know where.Unreal if modded c6 z06s run 13.2 then your local track is paved with ice not asphalt.

His track is at 4500+ ft. The mph on any N/A car is going to be way down.

Ya, my previous C5 Z06 would run 12.7's stock on crappy goodyears! People running 13's with a C6 Z need to hang it up.

Plus 662 hp and no gas guzzler tax. Thats outstanding. You think a Zr1 that weighs 500 or 600 pounds less with 25 hp less would be able to pull this off.

Let me tell u something son.. its my Z if u misunderstood ...and the guy i ran is a phenomenal driver he has been 10.70 at 127 on a stock ported blower 3500 pounds .. i'm also exceptional driver to...obviously u cannot drive because u had to put an automatic in ur car.lol if u lived in Lexington ky. i would love to get up with u and run... u would lose to ..no doubt..this is a vette form not a mustang form...fords sucks bottom line ....i am a die hard chevy fan ...its sad when a 220.000 thousand dollar gt40 ford cannot hang with my 80.000 dollar Z..lol now what ......

You surely don't even own a z-06. Go troll elsewhere. Anyone who knows drag racing knows a stalled auto is the way to go. If you lived near me I'd embarass you with my cobra, then my h/c/i z, then my cts-v, and then the 2013 GT500 I just got the 'green light' to buy. I am a die hard 'car guy'--sucks to be you, that you're limited to such a small selection of cars.

Hmm last I checked, a zo6 that hooks puts up some stellar times.

Most of us here have done the math, it's just the real world results that don't add up.

The super snake that UNREAL spoke of trapping 127-128, that's impressive, but that car is also rated @ 725hp. Its funny to read how this new "BEAST" is gonna hand the z it's azz at the strip.

The Super Snake of a few years ago had an inferior suspension. The suspension on the 2013 GT 500 is much better. That's also why Shelby's current GT 350, with less HP than the Super Snake of a few years ago, is much quicker 0-60 and the quarter mile--the suspension.

I don't know why it is so hard to believe that a car with 157 more HP (even with 650 lbs. more weight) can beat our mighty Zs in a straight line-- it is carry .5lb less per HP that the Z. I don't feel embarassed by my "inferior" Z06.

Its almost May '12 and no performance stats from Ford on this '13 car-only that it can supposedly reach a top speed of 200mph. If the 0-60 & 1/4 mi numbers are so impressive why havnt they been posted? As the car is rumored to be out in about a month. If this car is as great as everyone says it will be, publish it! Maybe they didn't do the math right.....

I'ts funny to hear ppl talk about the mustang and say how much better it is when it has not been put to the test by anyone. Or for that matter even released to the public..take 2 drivers same track or road the z06 will win..and its been kicking the sh*t out of ford for over 6 years...I swear if asshol*es could fly this forum would be an airport...

Why is it so hard to beleive? Maybe because a '12 with +45hp traps 10mph less than a stock c6z? Could the extra 120tq help the new Shelby get to that 125 trap? Maybe, but I doubt it
