[Z06] Oil Pressure XXX

Oil Pressure XXX
Drove the the other day and didn't notice that the oil pressure gauge was at zero....After the initial panic I shut the car off and drove into a driveway. I saw that on the DTC display is showed Oil Pressure XXX
I checked the filler and made sure it plenty of oil and it was circulating and no lifter noise etc.
I took is to John at LHT and had him look at it to confirm that it had oil pressure.He confirmed it was the sensor and the engine was fine.
Well $40 for the part and a everything is good to go.
GM part # 12621234 ( Oil pressure sensor ZO6)
Here's what I found.
When I turned the ignition on, the gauges would do a sweep/self test but the oil pressure would be delayed to come back to zero.Also the DTC would say Oil Pressure XXX or after resetting the battery would show 129 psi.
The car only has 5000 miles on it , I'm thinking its from sitting for weeks without starting.It could have just been a faulty sensor, who knows.
