The yellow springs on the clutch (both of them) are loose and rattling inside of the outer springs. They seem to be nearly fully compressed (the screwdriver is just to show how much clearance there is on the end of the spring).

Is this normal?

Hmmmm I've never taken notice to that. I would think they would be in there tightly but it wouldnt be the first time I was wrong today. Curious of the answer myself now.
