Default New PB 10.0 @139mph

So I went to MIR again for the 3rd Fall classic rental and came out with a new PB. Goal was a 9.9x pass but I am still getting used to the throw of the new LT1-SC clutch and it's engagment point. This clutch is awesome btw! I hot lapped the crap out of it with multiple 1.5x and 1.4x 60ft times and didn't skip a beat! Every time I cut a 1.4x 60 I either ended up missing 2nd gear or I went into 2nd with a delay. Making the 1-2 shift transition was a big challenge for me in the new clutch. Made a few adjustments to my clutch pedal stop and hopefully this saturday I'll leave the tens with some better faster shifts!!! The car is an animal for a N/A car and it def has a couple more tenths in it to shave off! Special thanks to D-rod for letting me hog his 315/35/17 hoosier DRs (which I ended up buying after the rental) The 315/35/18 ET streets I came with were done (sitting in the garage for a year and heat cycled too many times) and would not hook up! It would spin going across the traps in 4th!!! Scary deal there! The Hoosier 315s are by far the BEST DRs I have ever used on I will buy them over and over again! So damn sticky!! Last but not least, I would like to thank Gary for putting together another great rental at a awesome facility! Also congrats on the new PB best Gary, that 1.38 60ft you cut was insane!!!

Keep it as long as you can use it.

Without a doubt, red cars are the fastest!

Ya those are conditions the rest of us never see. My nearest track is Fontana(California Speedway) and on the same day same time the DA was 2069ft so the car would not be anywhere near as fast. Those are typical conditions for us during the winter. The best I have seen it there is a 800ft DA when it was cold for us at 50 degrees with a Baro of near 30. We do not see baros over 30 in that area. A -1400ft DA helps NA cars make a fair bit of power more. MIR is also a very good track in other ways I have been told by people that run there. Very good track prep.
