Hi all, im 26 from Ontario Canada. Long time lurker of the forum and currently looking for my dream z06. I have a couple questions:

How long did it take you to find the car that was perfect for you?
and
Any reputable shops in southern Ontario for head work?

Hello, I'm from Burlington Ontario. For shops, check out Champion Motors (Warden/Lawrence in Scarborough). Everyday i'm looking on kijiji but it seems that in Canada they are not that common. You paying cash?

3 weeks. Needed a track car after my Wife got done with her GS. I knew of the one my friend had for sale that I ended up buying for my Wife. It is a regional TT winning, track prepared car I bought for comparable money to a stock 2010 Z. I looked for other track prepared cars at the time for similar money and there were none that I could find.

Im in stoney creek. Looks like we have less options for these cars on the used market here in Canada compared to the US. Will be paying cash yes.

Took me about 8-9 months of seriously looking. I was very picky and only wanted one that had everything I wanted. 9 months later found the perfect car only an hour away after looking all over the country. Good luck with your search.

My recommendation then, if you will be paying cash, is to look on kijiji and not only Ontario kijiji, look also in other provinces kijiji. But remember, finding the perfect car takes time, so just be patient and don't get anxious to purchase one asap.
