Price for late model Z06s
I know.. another price thread... but humor me.
What's your opinion on a fair price for the following cars? I'm defining a fair price to be one in which you can expect a car to sell for in no more than 4 weeks time during the summer months. Assume all cars have 5k miles on them, all stock, and are in almost new condition
2013 Z06 without Z07
2013 Z06 with Z07
2012 Z06 without Z07
2012 Z06 with Z07
2011 Z06 without Z07
2011 Z06 with Z07

A fair price is whatever the buyer and seller agree on. If you want a rough idea of what people are asking for, just search in one of the internet car classifieds with the year and options filters set to 2011-2013, and Z07 package. When I looked last year, they were between 55-70k.
For a non Z07 car, there is not much different from 09-13, so if you are looking for a non Z07 car, you could save some money and go for a 09, since they made more cars that year, and it has all the updates. If you want the Z07 package, I would personally go with the 2011, it has a different exhaust setup, and is documented to have slightly more power.

Naturally expect to pay a premium for an ultra-clean low mileage 'garage queen' as opposed to one used-up to the 9s.
Also get a GMVIS *and* Carfax to learn what the car's maintenance history's been. Time to know is before you buy.
Whatever you find be checking tires, new skins aren't cheap.
If tires are new (Michelin/Bridgestone -- not GY) be expecting $2K more asking, and IMO worth the extra expense.

I appreciate the responses guys, but telling me that the price is whatever buyer/seller agree on is not helpful. Everyone already knows that. I'm asking for your opinion on a fair price.

2013 58K. 2012 54K. 2011 52K. Add 3-4 for the Z07 versions....If you are buying get one that's been driven not a low mile garage queen...JMHO

^Brand New car
*The car has over 60k miles.
Few observations,
- Even with the new C7 Z06, the C6 Z06 prices seem are holding up pretty well. Many people were expecting these cars to drop in value to mid low 40's, don't see that yet. Maybe with the 06-08 cars.
- Most dealers do not seem to charge a big premium for the Z07 package, but they do for look and comfort packages like the carbon fiber or 3LZ, probably have to do with who they are marketing these cars to.
- For the folks looking to buy C6 Z06's with very low miles, based on these prices, the C7 Stingray should be a attractive alternative.
