Best place to buy OBX headers?
Hope I am in the correct section. With this question. Best place to buy OBX headers? For my 2006 ZO6. I am not looking for opinions on if they are junk, or not. I ran a set, on my 2005 Z51 vette. And put over a 100,000 miles, on the car with no problem. I just need to know, where to buy them. The shop that I used to, buy, install the headers, and tune the car. Is no longer available. So where did you guys get, your OBX headers from.
Thanks
Thanks

i bought mine from erzperformance.com.the welds were great the headers and x pipe fit pretty good.had to pull headers together and weld a plate to keep them from hitting the tunnel.i will tell you they are heavy and thick so if your worried a bought weight there not for you.i paid 899 shipped to my house headers were 849.worth saving the funds for more go fast parts.oh and you need gm ls3 header gaskets with round port since the obx are not d port like your heads or you can use the one that come with the headers i didnt.

Texas Speed and Performance is another great option. You can get their 1" 7/8 stainless steel longtubes complete with off road x pipe for $760, or headers only and build your own mid pipe for $519. I have these on my c6z and the fitment is perfect.
Hinson motorsports also just released some c6z headers which actually look identical to the TSP headers except for the fact they are ceramic coated black. They are priced pretty close to the TSP headers, I wouldn't doubt they are made by the same people. They advertise made in USA too so that's a plus, I am happy with my TSP headers.

You can take a look at www.berlsx.com, they were less expensive than ebay and I'm in CA so no tax which is nice.

TSP or Hinson would be my choice (not exactly OBX but china headers if you are set on those).
Both TSP and Hinson have low cost headers. In fact I think the hinson are US made and similar in price.

Run them without cats for now and add them later if it annoys you enough. Never had cats on any of my cars and wouldn't recommend them.

I swear that must be a car to car thing. None of my cars have ever had fumes or issues. My wife drives/rides in it, mother, mother-in-law, etc and no one has ever said a thing.

Strange. I guess we all just don't have a sense of smell then.

Glad your state, has that luxury. In my city, they look under every car for cats. If they have been removed. They will not even test the car, until you replace them. Which sucks by the way. Either way in my case I will need to run cats, so hopefully Hinson, will have some out soon, for their exhaust set up.
