Only on 5 lbs boost with twins? Wow at the potential.
What cam, how much overlap?
Is it maf tuned?
Any lag at all.. Probably not?
Thanks bro... I wish I was living the dream lol!
I had to work my *** off for every car I've owned.
So I don't get to drive them as much as I'd like to (always working)

If your referring to the oil cooler for the turbo then yes it's on the car behind the front bumper.
If you look up the aps kit. Every single part you see is on the car.. And I must say they engineered the kit well bc it all tucks in nice
Iv mainly only done some 3rd and 4th gear short pulls beings I'm still wanting to go over the tune and make sure it's 100% on point but no lag man..
My previous cars were pro chargers.
D1sc and a f1a . It comes into boost as quick as my d1 did

on boost that quick--wow.
working for what you got--kudos to ya my man.
I ran a supercharged car on the circuit tracks ( Road Atlanta etc) for a few years. Boost is addictive:-) and very easy to get into trouble with --lol--just dial it up--right?
Sounds like you have learned some lessons--like I did.
do you wonder about back pressure and exhaust valve temps?
Think you may swap cams and go with as little overlap as possible? get this--I had a engine with NO overlap---NONE. Bet you cant guess what it was:-) Perfect boost engine.
Again congrats dude---beautiful car--big motor with a quieter exhaust ---run 3.5's all the way back:-)

Honestly I would like a vented hood but now sure which one I like. The temps stay about 190 tho
Not nittos for traction ...mickeys or m and h..I have nto5rs .they are not for you.

Yea I'm just really not wanting to swap my brakes. Idk why but I just don't want to part with them lol .
I was under the impression with 18" rims I can still keep my brakes...
Any of you guys have issue with fuel sending unit ?
Mine is giving me some fits.
Done ran all the cleaners through it "techron and the Ac Delco gm recommends"
No luck

Gorgeous car and setup.

I get the feeling that sending units can be problematic, there's been a decent amount of posts about it, and you can find cleaning videos on youtube. requires you to drop the tanks and clean the film off the unit itself.

APS made a good kit, and the Z06 kits did have a ball bearing turbo on them unlike the other kits. Only bad thing is there are no replacement parts for them unless someone is making them.

Cleaning out my email and came across this thread I stated when I bought the car...

figured id give a update ... to make it short as possible the car now sits on welds all the way around. M&h racemasters in the rear.
Love them .
installed a mgw short throw
170amp billet tech alternator!( best mod)

had the car re tuned at d3 performance. On 6.5 lbs . Had a few hick ups but was able to get the tuned pretty close. put down right at 680whp

currenty the car is waiting to be tuned again
after going to larger waste gate springs.
6.5 was all we could get out of the last set. Even with the boost controller ...
the turbos really want to sling up there now so car is really sitting until I can get time to drag it back to Texas for tune.
Car is on 93 and meth.

Plan is to make about 710-720whp and shut her down there. new block maybe this year if all goes good and really turn the car up !

Glad to hear things are going well. I have close to the same setup and mine is finally up and running. I have fuel sending issues as well. It reads the first half and stops at a half of a tank. My car is just street tuned right now but runs really well. I'm running too hot but have upgrades going in soon to address those issues. There is not much info on APS cars. Once I get my cooling issues fixed I will put it on the dyno and see what kind of power it is making. What front wheels are you running?

What size front tire and brand? I actually have the same exact setup. I just received my front wheels in yesterday and debating on what size front tire to go with. I have the same as you in the rear setup.

Yeah I've been looking for pictures with 325 in the rear but most have the 315. Does your setup throw any traction control lights or abs lights?

Why is an alternator the best mod?

it seems very common in these cars to start losing volts after x amount of aftermarket parts.
I was having issues especially at idle in traffic with ac and everything else on.
after doing some research and hearing all the good reviews on the billettech I decided to swap it out.
Since then my volts stay right around 14. 13.8 at the lowest
