Pulsating vibration on highway?? HELP
Guys anyone ever had a pulsating vibration at highway speeds over 70mph? The vibration comes and goes and cyclical the pulses get closer together as you speed up. This occurred every since I removed my motor and drive line to rebuild the motor and send my transmission and diff off to RPM for complete rebuilds. I don't think its my tires/wheels as I have (2) sets and the problem shows up with both, but a little less with my drag radials. Any help greatly appreciated, driving me CRAZY!!!

I have a similar vibration. I had the front tires balanced 3 times. I ultimately just replaced the wheels and tires again and the vibration is mostly gone. There are still some circumstances where I feel it but it's very light and someone else driving the car probably wouldn't notice it.

Pulsing....could the vibration also be caused by a broken/ worn/ loose motor or trans mount?
Misfire?
Please let us know what the cause was once found.

mine does this too. freaked me out on the highway going home the day I bought it. but its been like that for the last 25k miles. and I still have the stock front tires with 48k on them. but they are ready for replacement

Wow - 48k out of the stock GY's - that must be some kind of record. You must not do very much aggressive driving (at least cornering) as the stock GY's are pretty worthless after 10k.

I started getting this when i got new tires. Mine pulses from one hand to the other at 50-55mph-ish and 70-80mph. I had the wheels balanced twice and the vibration would return after each HPDE. Maybe the tires are rotating on the wheels? I'm going to the track later this week and getting another balance, will mark the tire position to see if anything moves. I am running conti extreme D/W.

I had this happen with a set of NT-05's. After the 3rd or 4th time balancing and an alignment the cyclical pulsing went away.

I just bought a 2013 Grand Sport. Only 7700 miles. At speeds over 90mph it is a high frequency rumble that you can easily feel in your seat (my wife could feel it in her seat too), but it comes and goes about every half second. In other words, it rumbles for half second, then stops, then rumbles, then stops. It does this continuously until I drop the speed below 90. I went all the way up to 135 and it still occurred. I can learn to live with it, as the handling and stability seem unaffected, but I would love to know the cause if it is an easy fix, and more importantly I would like to know if just ignoring it can lead to much bigger problems later. Thanks.

Have one too... I think it might be the nature of the beast seeing as how so many have it.
Mine is only perceptible on highway (only in the steering wheel), and the vibe pulses every 2 seconds or so. Very subtle, and with aftermarket exhaust, someone else could drive my car and probably not notice it unless I point it out. 13K miles here, 2.5K on fresh MPSS tires, no major drivetrain work ever.
