Default Adding high flow cats to offroad xpipe

can i just buy a set of high flow cats and install them on my offroad x-pipe?

Does it require alot of cutting and welding?

or it would be better to buy a complete catted x-pipe?

Depends on what brand. LG systems they just bolt right in, super simple. Other systems you would have to cut/weld or replace the xpipe.

Weigh the degree of difficulty for installation plus the cost of some good quality cats against a new direct bolt-in x-pipe from your LT manufacturer.

I would recommend these...Random Technologies has a good reputation...but they're $205/ea. http://www.hinsonsupercars.com/p-928...-metallic.aspx

can I use LG cats with Kooks xpipe?
I assume that I will need to cut some length of the offroad xpipe and the cats can be bolt on with clamps. Is that correct?

Probably with enough cutting/hacking/etc. Depends where they put the x on the kooks. If you have a kooks system your probably best off just ordering a kooks catted xpipe.

I sent you a PM. Not certain if you received it. I have a catted Kooks mid pipe on my c6z and have been looking for a used catless Kooks mid pipe. I would be willing to trade + a little bit of cash if you're interested. I only have right at 3k miles on mine.

I have a catted Kooks x-pipe sitting on the shelf. It has very low miles and is in excellent shape. PM me an offer if you're interested.
