H/C/E85 Tune results
Here are some specs on my build:
LPE heads; ported and milled .050"
BTR valve springs
Ferrea exhaust valves
OEM intake valves
OEM head gasket
Stock exhaust manifolds, cats, x-pipe, stock mufflers
Halltech 103, stock tb/intake
ID1000s
Walbro 450
BTR Stage 3 cam
Car made:
515.5/443 on 93
531.9/468 on e65
Tuned by Dave Steck at Dedicated Motorsports in Austin, Tx. (I'll post the sheet later when I can get to my phone)
Overall, happy with the power output. Pretty close to where I was hoping to be. The power feels like when I first got the car, before I got used to the stock power. 2nd gear pulls pretty hard and much faster than before. Headers and Mamo MSD are definitely next on the list.
The car drives great with very little surging. A little harder to take off from a light, but I'll get used to it. Nothing a little more pedal can't solve.

That is quite a good gain on E85, probably due to the .050 milling to bring up the CR.

I'm pretty certain your factory manifolds and cats are holding that thing back big time. My C6Z made 572whp cam only on stock heads (but had LG Super Pros). You can see in the graph where the power just kinda stalls out. I could actually watch it choke on airflow in the log too.
On the bright side, your factory pump was holding ok. That's not to say it'll suffice once you up the power.

Jay, I have a question. Are you using the walbaro pump with these numbers, the reason I ask is it was stated your pump might run out of room? I would think that the 450 would work at that power level?

Im very happy with my cam choice. I originally bought a BTR 4 and stepped down to the 3 and feel I made the right choice.

Sorry, a little confusion there. I have the Walbro 450 but have not installed it yet. The tune was done on the stock pump because I didn't have a chance to install the new one before my appointment. I am going to install the new one either this weekend or next depending on my schedule.

Pretty sure I saw you out at the wells branch meet Saturday night. I have the silver Z with the plate NAAZTY. I meant to swing by and introduce myself but had to leave pretty quick

That was the first time I've made it out to that meet. I work every Sunday, so staying out late on Saturday doesn't really work for me. I'll try to make it out more often.

Just a little update:
I installed a set of Texas Speed longtubes and x-pipe with the stock mufflers.
First off, let me say... I'm kicking myself for not holding out for a set of higher quality headers. The TSP set have been nothing but a pain since the very beginning. I am not happy with them at all. I knew it was a hit or miss, fitment wise.. Mine missed, hard. I'm still tweaking them to stop the vibration against the tunnel and rear over pipes.
After a retune, the car put down right about 550whp and 500wtq. I don't have the exact final numbers. Dave/Matt and I were a little surprised it didn't make more power. Could be due to the headers. But, the car does pull much harder than before.
After looking around a bit, it seems like this particular dyno may read lower than a dyno jet, so could be realistically making a bit more. Numbers are subjective anyway. I do plan to hit the dragstrip soon. Just don't know how well my stock clutch will hold up.
I ordered a set of Dragstar 17x10.5 7" BS wheels for the rear and 315/35/17 MT Street S/S tires.
Future plans are still a Mamo MSD manifold, ported TB or NW102, and a better set of headers.
