Get engine up to operating temp, open drain plug, drain fluid. Tighten plug, add fluid. Approximately 2 gallons.

ok so this is a multiple flush thing..

if i have it right the book says 11.9 qts. so drain, fill with water, run to circulate. repeat till water is clear coming out. then once i know there is only water in the block add 6 its of dexcool and then top off with water should give me the 50/50 mix i need with the water that is in the block.

sound about right?

i just wanted to make sure there weren't any bleeder screws or something i don't know about hidden somewhere.

The 'airlift tool' makes filling the system without air pockets easy, except it costs a bit. I use it all the time in the shop, great tool.
