Depends on your definition of loud. I have Kooks and I've used the off-road X and the catted-X. Neither of which are louder than a stock C6 with a Borla (or similar) catback.
I have b&b PRT mufflers with same kooks headers and catless X, its decently loud at idle. after 5k rpm it screams

I'm looking into the same setup as yours. Only difference is catted x pipeHow is the drone on highway and low rpms in your car? Is it really bad? Did the PRT eliminate the drone as advertise?
