08 Z06 O2 Sensor Codes
After putting about 1500miles on the car after the LG lt header install I'm continuously getting o2 codes. Usually p0030, p0135 and I believe p0053. It does this every time car is started. I can clear them with my cheap scanner but they will return every 15-30min of driving or anytime it's started up. I've read that since these lg lt headers move the front o2s back quite a bit it is common to see these codes. Before I go back to my tuner, I thought I'd check in here to see how others have remedied this situation. Is it possible to use the rear o2 sensors up front? Can the front sensors be completely bypassed in the tune? I'm guessing this only affects mid-part throttle. Closed loop should be unaffected. Car drives fine this is just annoying. Thank you in advance.

Sorry I used poor description. Yes these are long tubes catless headers. There are no provisions for the rear sensors. We are using the fronts in the ports provided by the long tubes but this move them back quite a bit. The rear O2's are not even installed in the car and have been disabled. Please correct me if I'm wrong but the codes that I'm getting are for the front O2's . I had read that some guys swap the front 02's and replace them with the rear O2's because they are a little more sensitive. I'm just trying to find out what my options are thank you again

P0030 is: "Heater Control Circuit, Sensor 1, Bank 1"
P0135 is: "O2 Heater Circuit, Sensor 1, Bank 1"
P0053 is: "HO2S Heater Resistance, Sensor 1, Bank 1"
So....if you believe in coincidence, then maybe something is causing these DTCs to come up, over and over. If you prefer to look at things logically, the O2 sensor is bad and needs to be replaced. Or, it could just be a bad connection or the leads are pinched.

Thank you. I'm assuming bank 1 means front or factory precast o2's. Should I go ahead and purchase new front sensors or is it possible to use the rears for now with either an adapter or soldering? Once I check connections etc first of course.

The rears are not the same as the fronts. Without getting too techy, just know they are looking for two separate things. One is engine performance, the other is Cat performance.
Bank 1 is the driver's side (bank 1 is the same bank as cly #1, so it could be different for different manufacturers). Sensor 1 is always the front (first from the exh manifold).
