Might have to, but at this late stage in the game, would need to be discounted off of MSRP.
I have an offer for a new car pretty far away but it has several expensive add- ons that I don't need. The dealer will discount, but still has $6k in unwanted add ons.

An order at 3000 status right now can be built the way you want it. But I think for an ordered car they won't discount off MSRP.

Well, seeing that you can order a new 2016 Z06 in June (not sure of the date), then delivery in Aug or Sept., I'm thinking around $5k discount on a 2015. I know many members who got about $3-$4K shopping around earlier this year. I have an offer of $7K off of color that I want, however, it has $7K in options that I wouldn't order. And I would have to pay another $1300 to get the car to me. Thinking about just waiting to pick up a used one or order a new one in June.

You DO know that C6 Z06's only come in manual transmission?

No they don't... 15s have automatic as well...
